What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

I am a design engineer at Rondom and, in my role, I work on various research and development projects aimed at innovating care for both patients and healthcare professionals. I draw energy from the connection between people from different disciplines who, together, want to make a real difference within the healthcare landscape in the Netherlands.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

Through connection, you create movement. And big change starts with small steps.

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

The variety, the collaboration between different fields and disciplines, the energy in the workplace, the goal for which we all turn up for work every single day: helping everyone in the Netherlands enjoy life to the full.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I love football. I play both outdoor and indoor football myself and go to every home match of our local football club in Den Bosch. I’m also a real bon vivant and love going out with friends and enjoying a nice bite to eat!
