Vermetten is an accountancy and consultancy firm with a personal and down-to-earth approach. It employs around 400 staff, spread across 11 branches in North Brabant. Vermetten supports entrepreneurs with accountancy, tax advice and business consultancy. Collaboration is key to this. Within the organisation, there is a strong focus on trust, personal responsibility and staff development. Openness, equality and mutual support play a key role in this.

Access to support

Through this partnership, Vermetten has chosen to make health a permanent feature within the organisation. Staff can make use of various forms of support. This support may be physical or mental, or focused on lifestyle.

Under this approach, Vermetten employees gain access to a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, psychologists and lifestyle coaches. In addition, they can use a health app to contact healthcare professionals directly, ask questions and take control of their own health through online content.

The partnership also offers an on-site health programme. Vermetten staff can sign up for this and take part in workshops and other events.

An example of this is the voluntary Preventive Medical Examination (PMO). This gives staff an insight into their health and lifestyle. Based on the PMO, they receive personalised health advice.

This package makes it easy for staff to access support and advice. Complaints are identified and addressed at an earlier stage, reducing the risk of them worsening and leading to absenteeism.

With a dedicated case manager as your point of contact, we provide support with issues relating to absence from work and the organisation of appropriate care.
